Be cautious of scams

  • Amid the recent emergence of the coronavirus world-wide, scammers are looking to exploit this global event for their personal gain. They are posing as officials from the CDC and the World Health Organization to elicit money or personal information through phone calls or malicious links sent via email.
  • If you get a suspicious email, text message, or phone call, you can report the scam to GotSpam@ErieInsurance.com or file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov/complaint.
